Ten nights at a five-star all-inclusive in Sri Lanka, flights from Gatwick included, from £1,509 per person. That's a solid beach-break price if you're not fussy about travel dates.
The deal
Hotel Riu Sri Lanka, 10 nights (27 July–7 August), all meals and drinks covered. Flights with Air Arabia from Gatwick. Based on two adults at £1,509pp (£3,018 total). Baggage allowance: one 3kg underseat bag and one 7kg cabin bag per person.
Why we like it
All-inclusive takes the guesswork out of Sri Lanka costs, and a Riu property usually means decent facilities and a reliable experience. The price is reasonable for a five-star setup with flights thrown in.
Catches: Air Arabia is budget-friendly but cramped; you're paying extra for anything beyond your two modest bags. The travel dates are fixed, so you can't shuffle them about. And mid-July to early August is warm and humid, plus it's peak monsoon season on parts of the island—fine if you pick your spots, but worth knowing.
How to book
Go through Holiday Pirates, who've assembled this package. Check the fine print on what "all-inclusive" covers (some places exclude premium spirits or activities), and verify Air Arabia's current baggage policy before you commit.
