BA Amex cardholders have a window to lock in discounted Avios rates to New York. Pre-registration is live for an anniversary party plane deal that's worth checking if you've got the card.

The deal
Flights from the UK to New York on British Airways, priced in Avios at a reduced rate. Pre-registration is currently open; exact dates and Avios prices will be confirmed when you register. This is a card-specific offer, so you'll need a BA American Express card to access it.
Why we like it
If you've accumulated Avios, off-peak pricing makes a transatlantic redemption less painful on your balance. The anniversary angle suggests BA's sweetening the offer compared to standard rates. That said, "discounted" is relative — check what you'd normally pay in Avios for this route before committing. Also worth noting: pre-registration doesn't guarantee availability once booking opens, so don't bank on it.
How to book
Head to British Airways and navigate to the Amex cardholder section. You'll need to pre-register with your card details to get access when the promotional window opens. Check the terms carefully — anniversary deals often come with specific travel windows or seat restrictions.
