Why we like it
You get a genuine music event without the usual festival camping faff. Brighton's already got decent seafront hotels and pubs if you want to make a weekend of it, so you're not locked into overpriced on-site accommodation. The price is reasonable for a proper headliner day out, and you can head back to a proper bed afterwards.
One catch: it's Brighton beach in July, so pack a windbreaker along with your earplugs—the pebbles are scenic but not exactly toasty.
