Why we like it
Winter is Palm Springs' high season: around 25°C, desert light, mid-century modern houses and pool hotels. Joshua Tree National Park is under an hour away, and the Aerial Tramway takes you from palm trees to snow on Mount San Jacinto in ten minutes.
