Overwater bungalows near Hurghada for £459 all-inclusive? The Panorama Bungalows Resort in El Gouna delivers the visual goods without the Maldives price tag.
The deal
All-inclusive stay at Panorama Bungalows Resort El Gouna from £459 per person. The resort offers overwater bungalows positioned over the lagoon, with board, drinks and activities included in the rate. Hotel-only pricing (flights not included).
Why we like it
Overwater bungalows are typically a Maldives or Caribbean affair — this gives you the same visual setup in the Red Sea at a fraction of those prices. All-inclusive takes the guesswork out of daily spend. El Gouna itself is a purpose-built resort town 20 minutes from Hurghada, so it's reasonably accessible and has proper infrastructure.
The catch: you're paying for aesthetics here. Red Sea all-inclusives are competitive on price because they're well-established; what matters is whether this particular resort's food, service and activities suit you. Check recent guest reviews carefully — all-inclusive quality varies wildly.
How to book
Head to the operator's site to check exact dates, room types and what "all-inclusive" actually covers (some resorts nickel-and-dime on premium drinks or activities). Confirm flight costs separately — Egypt visas are required for UK citizens and cost extra.
