From £105pp: one night in Reykjavik with return flights from London and a central 3★ hotel. You fly out early and back late the next evening, so you get two full days in Iceland. Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Bristol are also listed.
The deal
- Return flights from London: about £70pp (example dates 9–10 December 2026)
- 1 night at the 3★ Hotel Cabin Reykjavík: about £70 for the room (£35pp, two sharing)
- Total from £105pp
- Also search Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Bristol (prices vary)
- DIY: flights and hotel are booked separately, so it is not ATOL protected
Why we like it
Iceland usually costs £200 or more for a short break, so £105 is a good price. With an early flight out and a late one home, you can do a Northern Lights trip on the first night and the Blue Lagoon or a Golden Circle day before you fly back. December also brings the Christmas lights on Laugavegur and the Yule Lads. Book the tours early, because the evening Northern Lights trips fill up first.

How to book
Book the flights first, choosing the early outbound and late return, then book the hotel for the same night. The Flybus or a pre-booked transfer takes about 45 minutes from Keflavik to the city. Northern Lights trips depend on the weather, so pick a tour that lets you rebook for free. Our Iceland deals guide has longer trips. Take out travel insurance, because this is not a package. Prices correct at time of writing (20 October 2026).
