Why we like it
Tbilisi in December is one of Europe's best-value winter breaks. The Old Town's cobbled lanes get fairy lights and a Christmas market, the sulphur bathhouses in Abanotubani are perfect on a cold day, and the cable car runs up to Narikala Fortress for the view. Georgian food and wine are cheap, so five nights goes a long way, and there's time for a day trip to Mtskheta or the Kakheti wine country.
