Why we like it
Five-star Venice usually costs this much per night, not for the whole trip. The hotel sits on Giudecca, looking across the water to the Zattere, and runs a free shuttle boat to San Marco, so you get the quiet side of the lagoon with the sights ten minutes away. January is low season, so the alleys are emptier and the rooftop bar is easier to get into.
