What's on

24–25 July at Town Field. Expect tethered balloon rides, live balloon launches, and the unmissable Night Glow—where balloons light up after dark. Between the air shows, there's arena entertainment, a stunt display, and period enactments to keep you occupied on the ground. Two full days of it.

The vibe

Controlled chaos mixed with genuine awe. There's something hypnotic about watching a balloon inflate and lift off. The Night Glow is peak magic—dozens of balloons illuminated against a darkening sky, flames roaring, families stood in amazed silence. The stunt shows and period theatre keep energy high the rest of the time. It's a proper festival pace: wander, watch, eat something overpriced, repeat.

Getting tickets

Prices and ticket tiers haven't been announced yet, but balloon festivals typically offer day passes, weekend bundles, and sometimes premium viewing areas. Check closer to the date for family packages and early-bird rates. Book through the official event page or major UK ticketing platforms.
