Everton's new stadium guide for match weekends
DEAL · Visit Everton FC at Hill Dickinson Stadium, Bramley-Moore Dock. Hotels, travel info and match day tips for Liverpool fans.
Everton's spanking new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock opens this August. If you're planning a match weekend in Liverpool, here's what you need to know about getting there and where to stay.
The deal
Hill Dickinson Stadium (capacity 52,888) sits on the Liverpool waterfront at L5 9XW. For accommodation:
- Pullman Liverpool — £165 per night (match weekends)
- Hampton by Hilton Liverpool City Centre — £135 per night
- Travelodge Liverpool Central — £79 per night
Train from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street takes 2 hours 15 minutes. Advance Avanti tickets from £55.
Why we like it
The waterfront location beats the old ground hands down — you're steps from the Albert Dock and decent pubs (try Anita Dobson Bar for pre-match). The Travelodge option keeps costs sensible if you're not fussed about frills, while the Pullman offers more comfort without breaking the bank.
Train fares are reasonable if you book ahead, and Liverpool Lime Street is walkable to most city-centre hotels. No surprises here — just straightforward options across budget brackets.
One catch: match-weekend pricing on hotels is already baked in, so book early if you want the best rates.
How to book
Check Everton's official site for fixture dates and ticket availability. Book train tickets direct with Avanti or via Trainline for flexibility. Hotels are bookable through their own sites or the usual OTAs — just search by date once you've locked in your match.
