Why we like it
The walk from Putney Bridge is the scenic route most Premier League grounds can't touch — you're following the river the whole way, past Bishop's Park, which sets Fulham apart from your typical concrete slog to a stadium. Hotels are reasonably priced for west London and within striking distance of the ground and the West End.
One catch: the walk is pleasant but adds time on match day, so leave earlier than you think. The area around Craven Cottage itself is quieter than some grounds — less the roaring pre-match buzz of a city-centre stadium.
