The hotel lists its address on Na Porici in New Town. Prague City Tourism places the Powder Gate and Municipal House around a ten-minute walk away. That makes it a useful candidate if you want a central starting point without choosing solely for an Old Town Square address.

Our take: compare this first for a straightforward sightseeing stay. Check your room, breakfast and cancellation terms; we are not claiming it is cheapest.

The bridge setting

Hotel Pod Vezi

The hotel's own site describes two historic buildings near the Lesser Town end of Charles Bridge. This is our candidate for someone who values that setting more than a standardised chain-hotel experience.

Hotel Carlton Prague

The Carlton is on Taboritska in Zizkov. Its website lists air-conditioned rooms and breakfast service. It is the hotel named in our October Prague package article, so understanding this location matters if that is the offer you came to book.

Our take: compare the complete trip price and accept that this is a different base from staying beside Charles Bridge. Check the journey from the hotel to your planned sights rather than relying on a headline journey time.

Compare the same stay, not three unrelated prices

Use identical check-in dates, guest numbers and room requirements. Then compare cancellation deadlines, breakfast, local charges and the amount due at the property. If a cheaper non-refundable rate saves very little, decide whether losing flexibility is worth it to you.
